Resolved Question: Need a little help on life please?

Ok, my husband and I live in lower MI and we have 2 children. My hubby is a diesel mechanic and where we live there are not many job opportunities. Lately we have been talking about possibly moving to Florida. When we first got together we lived out in Peoria, IL for a job and would be moving away from family again. I'm half excited/half scared to make this leap of faith. So, I guess my question is: Has anyone else been in a similar sort of situation? Where you want to go, but you're afraid to leave family behind? We'll of course take the time to compare jobs, rent, insurance and all that and logically make a decision together, I'm just looking for some input. Thanks!
